We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of our newest corporate cafe in Southport, NC! We have been remodeling the store and we are so excited to open our doors to this wonderful community. If you have never been to Southport, now is the time to go check it out. Spend a day driving down from Wilmington to Fort Fisher, taking in our beautiful coast, perhaps stopping to hike the Fort Fisher Hermit Trail, a 2.2 mile hike through the salt marshes, or explore the NC Aquarium before hopping on the ferry for a short ride over to Southport. The Southport-Fort Fisher ferry takes you and your car across the Cape Fear River, looking out towards where the river runs into the Atlantic Ocean. On a clear day, you can see over to Bald Head Island from the ferry, perhaps even spotting Old Baldy, the lighthouse.
Once you disembark, take a short drive into Southport, where you’ll find historic homes nestled in among oak lined streets. Port City Java is located at 113 Howe Street, just a few blocks from the waterfront.
On our walls, you will find local artists, such as Jill Jackson and Lori Peterson.
