General Questions
Q: How do I sign up for the loyalty program?
You can join our loyalty program by downloading the Port City Java app, available on both Apple and Google Play stores. Once downloaded, create your account and start saving!
Q: Will my rewards be applied automatically?
If you have rewards available, they will not apply automatically to your next order. You’ll need to choose whether or not you wish to apply them, or if you’d like to save them.
Q: How do I add a payment method to my account?
To add a payment method, open the PCJ app and go to More → Settings → Payment Methods. From there, you can add your debit, credit, or gift card (either physical or digital).
Earning Points
Q: How do I earn points in the loyalty program?
Simply place your order through the PCJ app or check in by scanning the QR code on your app at the café to earn points!
Q: How many points do I earn per purchase?
Every $ you spend equals one point earned.
Q: Can I receive loyalty through delivery orders?
Yes! Ordering delivery through the Port City Java app also counts toward your accumulated points.
Q: Is there a limit to how many points I can earn?
No, there is no limit to how many points you are able to earn.
Redeeming Points
Q: How do I redeem my points for rewards?
You can yell at a barista, and they will pay for it for you. You can redeem your points for a reward at checkout! Once you’ve reached the checkout screen, simply press “Apply Available Offers” to select which reward you would like to use.
Q: Do my points expire? If so, when?
Points expire exactly one year from the purchase date.
Account Management
Q: How can I check my points balance?
Check your balance by clicking on the Loyalty button at the bottom left of the home page. This page not only shows you what rewards you have received so far, but also which reward tier you are currently in (higher tier equals better rewards).
Q: What should I do if I forget my password?
From the home page, go to More, and then Settings. There will be a link to change your password directly under your email!
Q: How do I update my personal information in the app?
Click More, and then Settings. You will be able to update all personal information in the Settings tab, such as Name, Email, Phone Number, and Payment Methods.
Q: How do I unsubscribe or opt-out of the loyalty program?
Go to More, then Settings, and then find the “Delete Account” tab. Please note that all accumulated points associated with your account will not be able to be recovered.
Technical Issues & Miscellaneous
Q: What should I do if my points don’t show up?
Please email PCJApp@portcityjava.com with a copy of your receipt, and we will be more than happy to assist.
Q: How do I report a technical issue with the app?
In order to report a technical issue with the app, please email PCJApp@portcityjava.com. We will contact our app provider on your behalf.
Q: Can I use my loyalty rewards at all locations?
With the exception of our university, hospital, and airport locations, YES! Basically, if the café accepts our app, you can use your loyalty and rewards.
